JOB SUMMARY

D.C. United is looking to add a relationship driven sales professional to our premium sales team. The ideal candidate is motivated, competitive, and driven to become a leader in the sports sales industry. ?

The position will be focused on generating revenue through the sale of Premium Hospitality at Audi Field, including multi-match suite leases, Field-Level seats, and Events DC club seats and all other hospitality spaces. The selected candidate will be expected to set/execute face-to-face appointments on a consistent basis, make outbound sales calls, in addition to working sales events and games.

The candidate should have a solid understanding of the B2B sales process with a relationship focused personality and a proven track record of selling and servicing Premium Accounts within the sports industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and exceed all weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals while providing a top level of service to all D.C. United fans.
  • Generate new business opportunities primarily focused on Premium Hospitality products through cold calling, outside appointments and stadium tours. As part of the D.C. United sales team, an emphasis is placed on face-to-face and or virtual sales presentations/meetings to move the sales process forward.
  • Maintain all touchpoints with clients and prospects within KORE CRM and Salesloft.
  • Adoption of additional sales tools including, but not limited to LinkedIn, SuitePro and Sales Intel, etc.
  • Execute a minimum of 4 meetings, 225 calls and 500 activities per week.
  • Represent D.C. United in the most positive way on game days when interacting with clients and prospects at D.C. United sales tables or at their seats on matchdays as well as attend multiple networking events per month.
  • Contribute positively to the D.C. United sales culture.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful B2B sales experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Competitive nature and a contagious, positive attitude.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments and sales.
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism and a passion for the sports industry.
  • Must be open to learning throughout sales training process and be a coachable team member
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

SCHEDULE

  • 8:30am- 5:30pm EST
  • Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the season schedule.

Base pay is one part of the total compensation package and is determined within a range. The good faith anticipated base pay range for this role is shown below, and actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, location, and other business and organizational needs.

Total Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000
