Job Type: Part-Time

Job Summary:

The Facility Operations and Security Coordinator position plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our training facility. This role position combines security responsibilities with administrative tasks to provide a seamless and secure environment for the teams, players, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, multitasking, and security skills, ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area. This position is part-time. Anticipated pay: $20.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control:

  • Greet and assist the team, employees, and visitors with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
  • Verify the identity of all individuals entering the premises.
  • Enforce security protocols by monitoring access badges and visitor logs.

Surveillance:

  • Continuously monitor surveillance cameras to detect and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure a safe environment.

Emergency Response:

  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
  • Notify the appropriate authorities and internal stakeholders when necessary.

Visitor Assistance:

  • Provide information and directions to visitors. Assist in accepting and organizing deliveries.

Security Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed incident reports outlining security breaches or unusual incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of security-related activities.

Administrative Support:

  • TVs and lights are turned on.
  • Ensure the reception area is always clean and presentable.
  • Distribute interoffice memos and announcements.
  • Organize and deliver packages and mail.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in the Sports field preferred).
  • Previous experience in security and/or reception.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office suite, email, etc.).
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Work Environment:

This position involves working at the front desk in an office setting, including standing and walking for security rounds and lifting packages. The candidate may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
