JOB SUMMARY
D.C. United is looking for an organized and enthusiastic undergraduate or graduate student aspiring to enter the human resources profession to join us as the Human Resources Intern for Summer 2025. This internship will allow you to learn fundamental human resources principles related to Human Resources Information Systems, recordkeeping compliance, and payroll.
COMPENSATION
This is an unpaid internship and must be filled by a student who is actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and eligible to receive course credit for the internship.
SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
Estimated 20 hours per week at Audi Field. Schedule must include Tuesdays and Thursdays but otherwise is flexible. Ideal start date 5/27/2025.

Learning federal recordkeeping requirements for employee records
Introduction to ADP WorkforceNow
Learning foundational principles of confidentiality
Applying learning by using ADP WorkforceNow for recordkeeping
REQUIREMENTS
Educational goals that align with a career in human resources or business
Eligible to receive course credit at an accredited college or university for the internship
The selected candidate must pass a background check and provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
COMPETENCIES (KSAs)
Strong organizational skills
Professional oral and written communication skills.
Experience in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to learn new concepts under supervision and to apply that learning independently to complete work efficiently
Commitment to confidentiality and security of personal information
Coachable, hardworking, multi-tasking, and positive attitude.
